Speedy Fire Cleaning in Hudson County!

A dehumidifier in the basement of a three story commercial building caught on fire shortly after the manager left for the day. The flames spread upstairs very quickly and although the fire was extinguished shortly after it started, smoke and soot extensively reached the upper floors of the building. Shortly after the owner called our office, a crew of our cleaning experts rushed to the scene to begin the process of returning the building to a pre-fire condition. Since walls, floors and ceilings were affected with heavy layers of soot, the technicians on site needed to spend an immense amount of time wiping and vigorously cleaning every inch of surface area. Machines designed to remove smoke and unwanted smells from the air were then placed for a few days to clear all evidence of fire from the building.

Once the job was completed, the customer agreed the areas affected by the fire looked exceptionally improved over their condition prior to the fire. SERVPRO of South Jersey City/Bayonne was pleased to hear the customer was so impressed with the work performed!
